At Geoff Keighley’s Summer Games Fest that kicked off today, Innersloth revealed some big things coming to Among Us (Free) across all platforms. This includes what players can expect in the next major update and in future updates. Among Us is currently available for iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, and PC, with the PlayStation and Xbox platforms coming in the future. The next big update for Among Us will add support for 15 players in new colors. The colors include rose, gray, tan, and more. Among us there will also be a slight graphic update and finally mobile controller support (!). Details on this update will be announced shortly. This will follow the major Airship update that recently arrived. Read all about it here. Check out the Among Us roadmap from Geoff Keighley’s Summer Games Fest below:
For future updates, the developers announced that Among Us will receive a brand new map, achievements, account links between platforms, new roles, a new mode, visor cosmetics and more in no particular order. Account linking enables all storage data and cosmetics available on the platform of your choice. I’m happy that Cross Progression is also planned and hope it comes along with the release of Xbox and PlayStation so that mobile gamers who own them can bring data with them. If you haven’t already, Among Us is available for free here on the App Store for iOS and here on Google Play for Android. Check it out here on Nintendo Switch and here on Steam. Here is our forum thread for the game. Among us this year is also coming to the Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PS4 and PS5 platforms. Do you play it regularly on the phone or the switch?
