Rickle is an addicting, tower-building informal recreation out there now

Rickle is a game about building. Not only do you see how you build a stack of stones in front of a series of beautifully drawn backdrops, but you also see a better world at the same time.

This is because a portion of the proceeds from Rickles IAP sales and advertising revenue was donated to three leading environmental organizations: the Natural Resources Defense Council, the Union of Concerned Scientists, and the Environmental Working Group.

To play your role, all you have to do is play the game. Here is how.

There is a slab of rock in the middle of the screen, while more slabs of rock float in from the left and right. The goal is to tap your smartphone when there is a brick directly above the stack in the center to add another level to your tower.

The perfect faucet will land a stone flush with the one below. The imperfect knock, on the other hand, leaves an overhang that is cut off before the next stone arrives. This obviously has the effect of shrinking the top of your tower, making it difficult for you to place the next rockfall. Any attempt is doomed to failure.

But do not despair. Rickle keeps track of your accumulated total and when it’s high enough you unlock the next world. And you also have a personal best to pursue that gives you plenty of motivation to get back on track.

The developer has also promised to expand the game’s existing ten locations with future updates, with Easter eggs and hidden mini-games planned as well.

So what are you waiting for? Download Rickle from the Google Play Store and the App Store. There is also an official website for the game.
