Whole Warfare: Warhammer three options the ice-swinging, bear-crazy Kislev

The latest trailer for Total War: Warhammer 3 fell today and features the bear-swinging Kislev race.

We’ve already seen glimpses of Kislev from the first reveal trailer and a cute movie trailer from last week. However, there is more to decipher here and a better look at the accompanying bear army and Kislev’s Ice Queen Katarin. The breed bordering Russia rides bears into battle, and their furry companions also become quite hostile to the enemy. Katarin is here too, with a terrifyingly huge elemental bear using the new lore of ice magic.

Fraser got his hands on Total War: Warhammer 3 earlier this month, describing his Kislev horde as “an agile, mobile army that is great at harassing and picking up the enemy.” When discussing Kislev, Senior Game Designer Oscar Andersson said, “Kislev is generally suitable for players who prefer a more defensive style of play.

“So if you enjoy playing high elves, Kislev will resonate with you pretty well. You have very similar elements of putting a heavy load on the skirmish gameplay, and you have a lot of hybrids, both of which are good at holding their own to weaken the enemy and wear them down when they come towards you. “

Total War: Warhammer 3 will be released later this year.
