This month marks the 4th anniversary of the Nintendo Switch. But Nintendo apparently isn’t done with the Wii U yet. For the first time in two and a half years, Nintendo has released a firmware update for the Wii U. This means that if you are still using your console, it can be upgraded to version 5.5.5 U.
Unsurprisingly, there isn’t much in the official patch notes. In fact, it only mentions that “further overall system stability improvements and other minor adjustments have been made to improve the user experience.” A tweet forwarding the news and the official patch notes is below.
