Minecraft Dungeons have even more Minecraft dungeons in the form of Flames of the Nether. It’s a paid DLC pack and, as the name suggests, it’s set in the Nether. Below you will get access to six missions which, if all goes smoothly, should bring you a range of new weapons, equipment and artifacts. However, you will have to assassinate a number of new Nether-themed enemies to obtain this loot.
That will bring you back $ 6, but there is also a major free update available. These free additions are primarily designed to keep you in the game. The largest are Ancient Hunts. These are procedurally generated missions accessible in the endgame that “weave in and out of the Nether and other familiar parts of the overworld in action-packed, sewn-together adventures.” Of course, these runs have a higher chance of being rewarded with rarer items, but they are the only way to get equipment in a new rarity level called “Gold Plated”.
Gilded items only fall from ancient mobs, which are basically overpowering versions of enemies you have encountered before. Ancient Hunts is also the best place to get gold, a new currency accepted by a Piglin trader who specializes in gold-plated goods.
