Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 receives a major update for the Nintendo Switch today, and the update brings four new playable characters with it. You will be delighted to hear that SEGA’s prickly blue hedgehog Sonic is one of them along with Lidelle, Ms. Accord and Ocean Prince. Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is now available in the eShop and has a file size of 1.8 GB. Here’s everything that’s in today’s update:

- “Boss Battle with Everyone” has been added to online modes. Up to four players can work together to defeat Boss characters using Skill Battle rules and earn tons of experience points and powerful item cards that you can only get here.
