If you’re like me and can’t wait to play Gran Turismo Sport, then you just might be lucky enough to get your hands on it before it’s released to the general public.
That is, if you’re local to the UK’s capital city of London, or can at least journey there on the day.
On the 19th and 20th May, the GT crew (Kazunori Yamauchi and co.) are holding what they’ve dubbed a ‘consumer experience event’, where members of both the press and public can get their hands on Gran Turismo Sport.
It’s held at East London’s Copper Box Arena, near the Olympic Park.
The 19th is specially reserved for the media, so if you don’t at least own a lanyard that says ‘PlayStation journo’ or something to that effect, then you’ll likely have to have one more sleep before heading back the following day, which is reserved for the public – like you and me.
Not in London? No problem
Don’t despair if you can’t make it!
On the 19th, the official Gran Turismo YouTube channel will be streaming the event live, so you can at least get to see the game in action, even though you won’t be able to play it.
What else is at the venue?
Focusing on the actual event once more, there will be race cars on display, as well as two quarter-scale Vision Gran Turismo models there too. So if you’re a car enthusiast in general, there’s more to this than just the game itself.
If you do fancy heading along and getting a first look at the game in action, more details will be released on the PlayStation UK social channels (Twitter and Facebook), so keep your eyes peeled for details!
In the meantime, you can at least take another look at the official trailer for Gran Turismo Sport, which was released just a few months ago.
You can also read my previous post for more details on the game, at least, what we know so far.
